Catering at Our Event in Deep Ellum
2616 Commerce wants to give you the most flexibility possible in creating your perfect event. You may choose to use any caterer you like that is licensed and has insurance or use one of ours. We do not allow drop-off of food. Your caterer must stay until all guests have been served and tables bussed of all food-related items. If using real dinnerware and silverware, your caterer is responsible for providing that and packing it all up at the end of the event. 2616 Commerce Event Center in Dallas, TX, can be reached at 214-748-5567.

Outside Caterers
Outside caterers are allowed. They must be approved by the venue manager at least 5 days prior to your event date. They will need to provide a certificate of insurance coverage providing proof of minimum liability insurance that names Nola LTD./2616 Commerce Event Center as additional insured. They will also be required to sign an outside catering agreement. Caterers are responsible for all food-related cleanup and busing the tables of all food-related trash prior to leaving for the night.
Drink Service
2616 Commerce is an unlicensed venue.
You may bring in the spirits to be served to your guests at no charge. This is referred to as a host-provided bar. The spirits may only be brought in by the person hosting the event, and you are required to hire bartenders to serve you and your guests. All TABC rules and regulations still apply. All spirits must be stored behind the bar and served by a bartender at all times. At the end of the night, the bartenders will box up all of the leftover spirits, and you may pick it up the following day. No spirits are allowed to leave the venue the night of the event. If you are NOT using a preferred caterer for food service, then you would be required to hire bartenders from one of our preferred spirits vendors listed on our website.
Host-provided bars are only allowed for invitation-only private events. Events that are open to the public or charge admission to enter must get a temp permit to sell spirits from TABC. Please contact Lisa@2616commerce.com for more information regarding spirits service for ticketed events.
For corporate events, if you are using a preferred caterer, they can take care of all of your spirits service needs. They offer hosted bars, cash bars with or without drink tickets, and consumption pricing.
